First Tropicraft Hut: All naturally gathered materials.
Tropicraft Huts! Better than those dirt or cobblestone huts you made with vanilla Minecraft! This one took a few days since only one palm tree and one regular tree spawned on my island, meaning I had to plant countless saplings to get all this wood. I also had one sugarcane plant, which I used to create copious amounts of thatch (I still make thatch blocks in case a creeper blows my roof up or something) The entire time I built this I survived on pineapple and coconut chunks, which is better than having to fish every day or wait for wheat to grow for bread. The smaller hut was my first shelter, and I soon as I killed enough spiders to get enough string to make enough wool for a bed I started making my dream hut. Now the little hut is a shed with gardening tools and plants in it. I also put platforms around the large coconut trees so I could harvest coconuts with ease. Speaking of coconuts, I have a coconut cellar!

Wow Spaz, that looks amazing. Nice to see that folks are using thatching for roofs.

Thanks guys! It took my at least a day to make the small hut (It started with cobblestone walls and a dirt roof), about 3 days worth of playing time to get enough string from spiders to make a bed, and then a few more days of planting and replanting palm trees and sugarcane to get the materials for the house.

Haha, alright then! I may wait until v3.0, but I haven't completely decided yet.
